Fruit and Vegetables

Fresh fruit and vegetables are our speciality.

Wherever possible we source our fruit from local suppliers but of course with changing seasons and customer demand, we regularly have to source our fresh fruit from around the world.

This ensures that customers may purchase citrus and speciality fruits at any time of the year, regardless of local seasons, at the best possible value.

Similar to our policy with fruit, we source our vegetables locally, wherever possible. We are strong believers in supporting Manx Farmers and local producers in order to cater for customer demands.

However, the same restrictions do apply with regard to seasonal availability and we do source vegetables from the European market and beyond, where necessary.

In so doing we always negotiate best prices balanced against product quality to ensure a seamless supply of top quality vegetables at the best prices.

Flowers

Sourcing our flowers from the best growers in Holland, is the responsibility of our Director of Floral Services, Mike Horsthuis.

Regular visits to the Dutch suppliers ensures that the quality of products is maintained, by first hand inspection.

This allows Robinson's Fresh Foods to remain the premiere supplier of 1st class products to the Isle of Man.

Prepared Meals and Soups

We have a wide selection of Ready Prepared Meals, made from the fresh ingredients and containing no artificial colourings or preservatives.

These meals are prepared by our own chefs at Ballapaddag from the freshest raw ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

We also have a selection of home made style soups, following the same strict rules of preparation to ensure absolute freshness.
