TASTE ISLE OF MAN - QUALITY ASSURANCE |
With the many different restaurants, cafes, bars and takeaways on the Island, deciding where to eat out can be a difficult choice to make
"Taste Isle of Man" is an independently assessed quality assurance scheme which recognises establishments providing a consistently high quality dining experience.
It is the only independent quality assurance scheme of its kind on the Island.
The Department of Tourism and Leisure has introduced this voluntary scheme whereby each participating outlet is assessed by independent professional assessors on a number of key criteria. Every eatery on the Isle of Man has the opportunity to become part of this scheme. |
HIGHEST QUALITY ASSURED
|

An additional accolade is awarded to establishments providing a commitment to using local produce. Wherever you see the distinctive " Harvest " Isle of Man sign you can be sure that the chef will have endeavoured to source quality ingredients produced right here on your door step. This results in unrivalled freshness, traceability and reduced food miles, and supports your local community.
The 2009 / 2010 "Taste" Directory offers a unique insight into eating out in the Isle of Man and details all the accredited venues, locations and facilities. Pick up your copy today from the Isle of Man Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal in Douglas.
