The one small shop that began trading in Douglas over one hundred and twenty five years ago, has developed into a chain of eleven outlets , and now supplies over 80% of the Island's hotels , restaurants and catering business's.

Despite this expansion , the firm is still very much a family concern , and there are six members of the Horsthuis family involved in the day to day trading. As the growth of the business continues , four key employee's have been appointed to the position of Director, with responsibilities for retail and wholesale performances , and there are now over one hundred and fifty staff , covering a broad spectrum of operation.

Whether retailing or wholesaling , the standard of produce and service is of the highest order. We were the first company in the U.K. to " Guarantee Our Produce" , and every effort is made to maintain Robinson's reputation.
